Lovely Babu Thekkethala (Rani Antony Manjila)
Mrs. Lovely Babu Thekkethala, born on May 31, 1977, is the eldest daughter of Antony and Lilly of Chirayath Manjila, Mukkattukara, Thrissur. She received her early education at St. George Primary and Upper Primary School, Mukkattukara, and Bethlehem Girls High School.
She pursued higher studies at St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth, and Vimala College, Thrissur, followed by a B.Sc. Nursing degree in Coimbatore. After completing her studies, she worked as a nursing tutor at Mother Hospital, Thrissur, Metropolitan Hospital, and Medical Mission Hospital, Kolenchery. She also holds a postgraduate degree in Public Administration.
Currently, she resides in Kuwait with her family. Her husband, Mr. Babu Paul Thekkethala, is the Director of Engineering at Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait. They have two children: Bretly Babu Thekkethala and Abel Joseph Babu.
From her school days, Mrs. Lovely Babu has actively participated in essay competitions and continues to engage in cultural events organized by various associations in Kuwait, often earning accolades. Her journey as a writer began through various Facebook groups, where she shared stories and received mentorship from Mrs. Mary Josie, Mr. Raju Shankarattil, Mr. Paulson Pavaratti, Mr. Vasudevan K.V., and Dr. Thomas Scaria.
She has contributed to several online Malayalam publications, including Malayali Manassu USA, C News, E-Malayali, and Kerala News Media, writing stories, travelogues, family histories, memoirs, and poems.
